Lévy Gorvy is pleased to announce the opening of a seasonal exhibition space in Palm Beach. Following on the heels of the gallery’s first Florida project, a collaborative ‘pop up’ presentation with Salon 94 Design in Miami’s Design District in December 2020, the gallery opened the doors to Lévy Gorvy Palm Beach on January 9, 2021.
Under the direction of gallery co-founder Brett Gorvy, Lévy Gorvy’s Palm Beach venue offers the area’s many dedicated collectors the opportunity to view exceptional postwar and contemporary artworks in an interior designed by Gabriel Chipperfield. The new space hosts a series of focused presentations, debuting different selection of paintings, works on paper, and sculpture each month. Lévy Gorvy Palm Beach also continues the gallery’s REVEAL initiative, an ongoing series of single-work focus exhibitions devoted to rare masterpieces, accompanied by in-depth contextual materials and educational programming that take place both in its physical spaces and online.
Located in the Slat House at The Royal Poinciana Plaza, Lévy Gorvy Palm Beach is at the center of Palm Beach’s burgeoning cultural district. A complement to the gallery’s spaces in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Paris, Lévy Gorvy Palm Beach is a further expression of the firm’s commitment to bringing postwar and contemporary masterpieces to collectors, connoisseurs, and art-loving members of the public where they are.
Brett Gorvy says, “We have conceived Lévy Gorvy not as a ‘pop-up’ but rather as a full gallery, bringing our artists and international program to one of the most prestigious residences for collectors in America. From January, Lévy Gorvy Palm Beach will be hosting historical focus exhibitions, as well as showcasing new work by our artists. During this last year, we have sorely missed the community that makes up the art world as much as the sharing of art in person, and both Dominique and I look forward to creating a safe space for conversation, beauty and interchange.”
